What do I do with the core of the banana after using Banana Loca®?
We like to eat it, especially with cinnamon and sugar lightly fried up in a pan. Or freeze it for dog treats or smoothies! Since the core is also where the banana seeds are located you can sow the banana seeds with compost to grow a banana tree!
Is Banana Loca® food safe?
Yes, Banana Loca® uses food safe materials and has material grade certifications.
What types of bananas work best with Banana Loca®?
We recommend using less curvy bananas (more straight), just at the peak of ripeness (not too green and not too ripe).
What are the fillings I can put in my banana?
Jams/jellies, honey, peanut butter, fluff, pudding, any nut butter, cool whip… the possibilities are endless! You can check out some fun Banana Loca® recipes here.
Besides bananas, what other food items can I use Banana Loca® with?

Is this dishwasher safe?
While Banana Loca® is technically dishwasher safe (top shelf only and on low heat), we highly recommend washing in the sink with hot soapy water (especially the corer so it doesn’t get dulled). Check out our cleaning video here.
